![]() ![]() ![]() I’ll have a full list of cards soon but you can look up your card online to see if it supports these features: DirectX 10 / OpenGL 3. In some cases, older graphics cards may also work (so long as they have up-to-date drivers which have support for OpenGL 3.3), but they are not officially. Quadro 4000 and similar cards on the mac are supported! We even have a fix for Optical Flares to allow full GPU performance in an update that will be out later this month.Element 3D does not require CUDA only Open GL.Users on Macintosh should update there OS which includes updated drivers. We HIGHLY recommend that you update your graphics card drivers from ATI or Nvidia for best performance. We technically support 256MB cards but you will be limited on texture capabilities and you can actually buy a killer card for $150 right now which will boost performance a ton. We recommend at least 1GB of video memory but 512MBs will work fine. We are working on a more official list of supported cards but here are some general requirements and info. Here are our GPU Recommendations for ArchiCAD: Performance Pick: Nvidia. So we are only days away from launching our new plug-in Element 3D ( Watch DEMO VIDEO) and as you may know it renders using OpenGL on your graphics card. And the OpenGL 3.3 release dates back to 2010 and all modern GPUs have support for this.
